New: Photography Classes at Boyne Arts Center

This Spring and Summer I’ll be teaching two new classes at Boyne Arts Center. Look for announcements soon for “Better Photographs from Your Smartphone” and “Photograph Your Artwork”.

The Smartphone class will cover camera features on newer iOS and Android phones, as well as basic photography principles of lighting, exposure and composition. The class will take place over two Saturdays in May.

“Photograph Your Artwork” will review lighting techniques and practices for photographing 2 and 3 dimensional works of art for juried competitions as well as artist websites. Smartphones are the primary “camera”, advanced users can use DSLRs. This 1 day, 2 hour class will run in June.
